A man has died and another was arrested after a single vehicle rollover on Highway 12 Wednesday morning.
As CTV News Winnipeg previously reported, RCMP responded to a rollover on Highway 12 south of Highway 1 around 6:20 a.m.
A person in the vehicle was flown to Health Sciences Centre by STARS Air Ambulance.
RCMP said Thursday, a 27-year-old man, later died from his injuries. He was the passenger in the vehicle.
RCMP learned the driver tried to remove the passenger from the vehicle before running from the scene.
The driver, a 31-year-old man from the RM of Tache, was found not far from the crash and was arrested.
RCMP is investigating and anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
