A 68-year-old man is in stable condition after police said he was stabbed outside a bar in downtown Winnipeg.
According to police, the victim and a 62-year-old man were drinking together at Tavern United Saturday evening. The pair allegedly got into an argument and were kicked out by staff.
Once they were outside, they broke out into a physical fight and the 68-year-old was stabbed, police said.
Emergency crews arrived around 7 p.m. as the fight was still going on. Officers said they used a taser to get the situation under control.

The 68-year-old man was transported to hospital in unstable condition but was later upgraded to stable. The 62-year-old man was also taken to hospital in stable condition, treated, and processed by police.
The 62-year-old man is facing charges of aggravated assault and possessing a weapon. He was released on an undertaking.
