Windsor police say they have identified the suspect wanted in a road rage incident at a shopping mall parking lot in the east end.

Police did not release the name of the woman. She faces a charge of assault causing bodily harm.

On March 9, around 11 a.m., officers were called to a parking lot in the 5400 block of Tecumseh Road East for reports of a fight.

Officers say a verbal argument between two female drivers escalated into a physical altercation, leaving one woman with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect and a passenger left the scene in a black Chrysler 200 before officers arrived.

Police obtained surveillance footage and were asking for the public’s help in identifying the woman. On Friday, police posted on social media that she had been identified.
