Essex County OPP officers have charged a 58-year-old Lakeshore resident after an intimate partner violence investigation.
Police investigated the IPV complaint on March 17 at 4:47 p.m.
As a result of the investigation, one person has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
Assault - Spousal
Sexual Assault
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date to speak to the charges.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims.
