Jefferson Street is set to be closed beginning next week for sidewalk and driveway rehabilitation work.
The closure will take place between Coronation Street and South National Street. Only residents of the neighbourhood will have access to this portion of the road. The City of Windsor said the intersection of Jefferson and South National will remain open to traffic.
Work will take place, beginning Tuesday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weather permitting, the work will continue until May 30.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area. Detour signs will be in place.
