The Canadian Coast Guard Station in Amherstburg put its rescue boats back in the water Friday.
Between now and April 11, all the seasonal search and rescue stations in the province will resume operations.
But the coast guard warns the water is still very cold, and prolonged exposure could lead to hypothermia.
