Police in Port Moody, B.C., have arrested two suspects linked to the violent theft of a liquor store.
It comes after a plea was made for help from the public to identify two photographed suspects, issued in a statement from the Port Moody police Tuesday.
The two suspects had allegedly attempted to steal alcohol from the store in the area of the city’s Inlet Centre on Wednesday evening, said police. A citizen who tried to intervene was left with significant injuries when he was attacked by both teenagers.
“With help from our community, the two youth suspects have been identified and arrested,” police said in an update Saturday morning.
“We are now in the process of recommending charges.”
