Police in Abbotsford are appealing to the public for help identifying a man alleged to have threatened someone with a gun earlier this month.
Officers were called to a business in the 30900 block of Peardonville Road on Jan 6. At around 4:30 p.m., according to the Abbotsford Police Department.
“An employee of a business in the area advised that an unknown man entered their business and requested help with his vehicle. When the staff member exited to assist, the man pulled a gun and threatened the staff member,” a social media post from the department said.
“The staff member was able to flee and call the police.”
Authorities have released a photo of the suspect and his vehicle. Anyone who recognizes the man or who has information that could assist police is urged to call 604-859-5225 and quote file number 25-765.
