A fleet of golf carts that were stolen from a business have been seized and returned following the execution of a search warrant in B.C.’s Sunshine Coast.

Police recovered four golf carts from a property in Sechelt March 14 after they were reported as stolen out of the Lower Mainland, Sunshine Coast RCMP said in a statement Saturday.

“Sunshine Coast RCMP officers acted swiftly upon receiving the information that led them to the location of the stolen golf carts,” the statement said.

Sgt. Jennifer Prunty said the RCMP detachment on the Sunshine Coast “remains committed to deterring property crime,” ensuring the safety of businesses and the public in the region.

“The timely reporting of crime allows us to move as quickly as possible to retrieve stolen property and apprehend those responsible for these crimes,” she said.
