Amber Alert cancelled after child found in Vancouver

A two-year-old who was the subject of an Amber Alert after an alleged abduction was found safe. One person was arrested but no charges have been laid.

Vancouver police cancelled an Amber Alert Thursday afternoon, saying a two-year-old child allegedly abducted by his father has been found and is safe.

“Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances around today’s incident,” a brief statement from the Vancouver Police Department said.

The alert was cancelled roughly an hour and a half after it was issued, and four hours after the child was last seen.

No charges have been laid.
