A Toronto man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman who helped him after he told them that he had a disability and was lost.
Toronto police said they were called to a sexual assault in the area of Pape and Gamble avenues on Monday.
Officers learned a man approached two women and claimed he was visually impaired. He then allegedly told them that he was lost and asked for their help getting home.
The women agreed, and when they reached the man’s home, he sexually assaulted one of them, police allege.
On Friday, police identified the suspect as 39-year-old Enayatullah Amiri. He has been charged with sexual assault.
Investigators released a photo of Amiri as they were concerned there may be more victims. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 416-808-5500 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or www.222tips.com.
