A dog park in the city’s west end has been temporarily closed after several pieces of chocolate were found scattered within the fenced in area.
Police were called to Baird Park near Dundas and Bloor streets on Sunday morning after a dog walker first noticed the chocolate.
City officials then decided to close the park until an investigation could be completed.
Toronto Police say they have found nothing to indicate that the chocolate was placed in the park to intentionally harm neighbourhood dogs.
