Two men were arrested following a shooting that occurred in a home on Waterhen Lake First Nation on Saturday evening.
Meadow Lake RCMP responded to the scene at around 6:15 p.m., where police reported a man was injured. He was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police say the suspect fled the scene of the shooting in a dark-coloured truck, he was then arrested along with the driver of the truck.
There was an increased police presence in the community of Waterhen Lake First Nation as police conducted an investigation.
The RCMP will continue to investigate the incident and will provide an update when available.
