Regina police say two men have been charged in connection with three robberies at various businesses in January and February.

According to a Regina police news release, a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with three counts of robbery, two counts of disguise with intent and breach of conditions.

A 41-year-old man was charged with one count of robbery.

Regina police said the first incident occurred during the evening of Jan. 26, when officers were called to a business on the 2900 block of Gordon Road.

Employees of the business told police that a male suspect took several items off a shelf, threatening employees with a knife when they tried to confront him before fleeing the scene.

On Jan. 29, police were called to the report of a robbery on the 1000 block of Pasqua Street North around 7:30 p.m. Once again, a lone male suspect took items off a shelf and threatened employees with a knife when confronted before fleeing the scene.

Finally, on Feb. 24 around 3:20 p.m., police were called to the same business on the 1000 block of Pasqua Street North. The same trend continued where a lone male suspect entered the business, took items off the shelf and when confronted by employees – threatened them – this time with a baton, before fleeing the scene.

The two suspects have already made their first court appearances, Regina police said.
