No injuries following apartment fire in south Regina

Crews of the Regina Fire and Protective Services (RFPS) were on site in south Regina after a fire was reported in an apartment complex Tuesday night.

The fire was reported at around 7 p.m. on the 4500 block of Rae Street.

Crews arrived at the “multi-family” building and contained the flames to the suite of origin, according to a post from RFPS.

Work immediately began to clear smoke from the building to allow other residents to return to their homes.

No injuries were reported.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
