Camille Wilson

Camille Wilson is a Multi-Skilled Journalist with CTV News Ottawa contributing content to television, radio and digital platforms. She is super excited to be in the Nation’s Capital and join the CTV News Ottawa team to learn about and grow in this beautiful city. Camille has always had a passion for storytelling and representing the community. Camille has a very outgoing, energetic and bubbly personality. After graduating from the Multi-platform Journalism program at Seneca College, she began her journalism career at a small radio station in Vaughan, ON. Camille worked as traffic and community news reporter for 680 News Radio. She then moved over to Citytv as a television producer for Breakfast Television and Cityline in Toronto, where she was born and raised. Toronto born but she is deeply in touch with her roots. Camille is first generation Canadian – her parents are from the beautiful island of Grenada, with Trinidadian roots as well. Camille’s favourite thing to do is travel and explore different places. She’s a people person and loves to chat. She has a deep passion for fashion, loves to take long walks in the warm weather, loves to smile and believes “laughter is the best medicine”. Outside of work, Camille’s hosted, emceed and been a keynote speaker at multiple charitable events, community & cultural events, festivals, schools, shows, sports games and galas.
