Ontario Provincial Police say a teenager is facing charges following a reported assault at Arnprior District High School last week.

Police were called to the school at around 10:20 a.m. Friday on reports that a fight had broken out in a classroom.

According to police, a student hit another student and a teacher during the incident. The injuries were considered minor and neither victim required a trip to the hospital.

A 16-year-old was charged with two counts of assault. The teenager cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
