A 38-year-old man is facing an assault charge following a fight over parking too close to another vehicle in Brockville, Ont. parking lot.
Officers with Brockville Police Service responded to a 9-1-1 call for a disturbance in a parking lot in the area of Cartier Court at 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 7.
Police say the investigation shows there was an altercation between two men over a “parking-related issue.”
“A 38-year-old male approached the male victim to confront him over parking too close to his vehicle,” police said in a media release.
“What started as a verbal argument turned physical, when the 38-year-old male struck the other instigating a fight. The two had gone to the ground and the subject got up and kicked the victim when on the ground.”
Police say one of the men is facing a charge of assault.
