Ontario Provincial Police say a 28-year-old driver is facing charges after a serious head-on collision on Highway 401 on Wednesday.
Police said the three-vehicle crash happened in the westbound direction at around 7 a.m. west of Lansdowne, Ont.
Two drivers suffered minor injuries and a third was taken to a regional trauma centre where their injuries were considered serious, but non-life threatening.
A driver from Thunder Bay was charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm and two counts related to driving with liquor and cannabis readily available.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville in May.
