The Ottawa Police Service says it has identified the two suspects involved in a theft from a senior woman late last month in Centretown.

It happened on Feb. 24 around 5:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Cooper Street.

Police say an elderly woman had fallen and the two suspects, a man and a woman, made her believe that they were helping her. Once she was distracted, the man allegedly stole some of her belongings.

In an update Monday, police said the two suspects had been identified.

Their names were not released and police did not announce any charges.
