The Ottawa Police Service says a man and a woman are facing charges after being stopped in a rental vehicle for reckless driving in the city’s west end Wednesday night.

Just after 10 p.m., police observed a vehicle driving recklessly in the Highland Park area. When the car was stopped, officers found and seized cocaine, crack and a large amount of cash, the city’s police service said in a post on X Saturday.

That was when officers charged the two occupants, a 30-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman with multiple drug-related charges.

The investigation is ongoing.

Highland Park is a sub-neighbourhood of Westboro.
