A Toronto man is facing charges after police discovered two high-end stolen vehicles in a tractor-trailer on Highway 401 in eastern Ontario.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation stopped a tractor-trailer hauling a sea container Wednesday morning in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 near Cornwall.
The officers then called the OPP for assistance.
“Inside the sea can they found two high-end vehicles which had been stolen in Toronto in January,” the OPP said.
Photos posted on the OPP social media account show a Lexus and a Land Rover inside the back of the tractor-trailer.
