The ski hill is set to open almost every day between Boxing Day and Jan. 7, except New Year's Day. The hill will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – though it will close early at 2 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

“Operating hours are dependent on weather conditions and may change without notice,” said city officials in an email to CTV News.

“Regular operating hours resume on Jan. 8.”

Lift tickets are available for purchase at the ski hill with cash, credit or debit. Visitors may choose from either a half day or a full day.

No word on when the city's other ski hill in Lively will open.

“January openings are not unheard of at Lively Ski Hill,” reads the City of Greater Sudbury website.

“(Openings) tend to fluctuate between Dec. 27 to Jan. 17.”
