Sudbury police released a photo and description of the man wanted in connection with a shooting inside a pickup truck at Lasalle Boulevard and Notre Dame Avenue on Tuesday night.
The police describe the suspect as “a Black man who was wearing a face covering at the time of the shooting.”

An image released by police Thursday appears to be taken from behind and shows someone walking down a snowy sidewalk in a black coat and shoes while carrying what looks like a bag behind their right shoulder.
The person in the photo also appears to be wearing a tan-coloured hoodie and pants.
“Officers continue to review video surveillance footage and canvas for additional information and video,” police said in an update March 27.
“Anyone with information related to this incident or the individual in the photo is asked to contact police at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477.”
Victim in hospital
Police received a 911 call shortly before 8 p.m. March 25 that a 35-year-old man had been shot while riding in a pickup truck.
He was driven to Health Sciences North with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries after calling someone for a ride.
Officers located the empty 2024 Black Ford F-150 downtown hours later, but did not say where.
