Sudbury — A second man has now been charged in connection with the stabbing death of a 17-year-old in downtown Sudbury last November.
It happened on Cedar Street on Nov. 15, 2019.
After initially charging an 18-year-old man with second-degree murder in connection with the alleged homicide, police in Sudbury are now also charging a second 18-year-old man in the incident with the following:
• Accessory After the Fact to Murder
• Obstruct Justice
Police say the man was released on a promise to appear in court on the anniversary of the incident, Nov. 15, 2020.
Officials confirm the stabbing was not a random act of violence and that it was a dispute between two individuals who knew each other.
None of the allegations has been proven in court
