Sault suspect enters victim’s home, runs away, then returns to make threats

A 30-year-old man has been charged following an incident Sunday at a residence on Farwell Terrace in Sault Ste. Marie.

Police were called at 1:30 a.m. about someone entering the home, “being confronted by the homeowners, and running away, only to return five minutes later and verbally threaten them before running away again.”

Police arrived and located the accused near the residence and arrested them. They were charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling house and uttering threats.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
