A 24-year-old suspect has been charged after a resident in Sault Ste. Marie found a stranger sleeping in their bed Wednesday morning.
However, unlike Goldilocks the stranger refused to leave when confronted.
Sault police were called at 12:30 a.m. and told there was an active break-and-enter on Sherbourne Street.
“The caller reported that someone unknown to them had broken into their home and was laying in their bed, refusing to leave,” police said in a news release.
“Officers were dispatched to the residence. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect in the victim’s bed and identified them as the accused. They were arrested.”
