HOMICIDE AND STABBING LAST WEEK
This comes as Sault police continue to investigate two other violent incidents that happened in the city last Thursday.
A 25-year-old suspect has been charged with attempted murder in connection to a stabbing around 1 p.m. Sept. 7. on the waterfront, about three km west of where the body was pulled out of the river Wednesday.

Police said the stabbing victim and accused are not known to each other.
Later that evening, around 5 p.m., officers were called to the scene of a homicide at a John Street apartment.

Police said in a news release Tuesday they have identified a suspect in the death of 22-year-old Taylor Marshall but have not released any details about them.

There is no indication that any of the three crimes are related.
