Ontario Provincial Police are on the scene Monday afternoon of a serious collision involving a snow machine near Chapleau.

Police said Highway 101 between Brunswick House First Nation and Foleyet was closed for about eight hours as investigators dealt with the scene.

No detours were provided by OPP or the Ministry of Transportation.
The roadway reopened at about 8 p.m. according to the the ministry’s 511 Traveller Information Service.
