Two people in North Bay have been charged with drug and weapons offences after a raid Tuesday of a residence on Lakeshore Drive.
Police units executed a search warrant on the residence and arrested a 36-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man.
A search uncovered a 3D-printed handgun receiver, a BB gun, a machete, a bullet-proof vest, drug trafficking equipment and 14 grams that police suspect is fentanyl.
“The estimated street value of the drugs seized in this incident is approximately $3,500,” police said in a news release Wednesday.
The male suspect is charged with trafficking and weapons offences, including four counts of breaching an order not to possess weapons.
The female is charged with two weapons offences and one drug trafficking offence.
Both were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
