Two people in a passenger vehicle were killed Monday morning in a collision with a commercial motor vehicle.
“The two occupants of the passenger vehicle were pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said in a news release Monday afternoon.
“Highway 63, which was closed in both directions between Highway 533 and Fish Hatchery Road for approximately seven hours, has now reopened.”
Police responded at 8 a.m., along with EMS and the Phelps Fire Department.
The OPP’s traffic incident management enforcement team is helping with the investigation.
