Police seek help in Sturgeon Falls arson case Provincial police are turning to the public for help with an investigation into a suspected arson fire in Sturgeon Falls last week.
Provincial police are seeking public assistance in identifying two persons of interest in an arson case last month.
On June 28 at about 7 a.m., members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Nipissing Fire Service responded to a structure fire on Highway 17 near Front Street in West Nipissing.

“Prior to the fire, two unknown persons, dress(sic) in red hoodies and red jogging pants were observed attending the property in a rented 2023 white Hyundai with a fuel container,” police said in a news release.
