SUDBURY — In a Sept. 12 news release, the Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) reported its 76th case of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. It is the first recorded case in the James Bay and Hudson Bay region.
The individual is between the age of 20 and 40-years-old and was tested on Sept. 7. They are now self-isolating.
Health officials haved not categorized the exposure and say the investigation is still on-going.
There are now three active cases of COVID-19 in the PHU district.
