A West Nipissing resident is charged with two counts of failing to comply with probation after an intimate partner violence call to police.
Officers were called to a disturbance at a home on John Street around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release.
“The investigation led to the seizure of two air guns and drugs suspected to be fentanyl, with an estimated street value of over $27,000,” OPP said.
As a result, a 29-year-old is charged with drug trafficking and having a firearm or ammunition despite a prohibition order, as well as two counts of breaching probation.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in North Bay court sometime this month.
“The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims,” police said.
