Laval police (SPL) are investigating an alleged robbery that took place at jewellery store in Carrefour Laval on Monday morning.
A spokesperson for the force said officers received a call reporting the suspicious behaviour at 10 a.m.
According to preliminary reports, a suspect entered the jewellery store and threatened the victim with a weapon before fleeing with stolen merchandise.
The police say they still don’t know the value of the stolen items.
No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
A security perimeter has been set up to protect the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
