A road collapse in the Cap-de-la-Madeleine area near Trois-Rivières left a municipal truck trapped in a large sinkhole, with its front end partially submerged in water.
City officials said a water main break caused the displacement of sand that was supporting the roadway on Massicotte Street.
The employee driving the municipal truck was not injured, according to the city.
Repairs are underway by the Trois-Rivières Public Works Department.
