Montreal’s Réseau express métropolitain (REM) was down for more than three hours due to a power outage on Monday.
The REM announced the outage at 4:15 p.m. on social media, telling riders that service was down in both directions just as the city was under heavy snowfall for the afternoon rush hour.
The transit agency deployed shuttle buses during the disruption, including the 720, 721, 722 and 568 lines.
At 7:44 p.m., the REM’s social media account said service was back to normal.
Normal service - the cause of the interruption has now been resolved.
