The Montréal Roses unveiled their inaugural primary and secondary jerseys on Thursday, which the club says embody courage, excellence, inclusion and “a deep commitment” to the community.

The jerseys were designed by Creative Director Jennifer Nagy Delli Fraine in collaboration with Montreal-based artist Niti Marcelle Mueth.

The primary jersey features bold blue and red colours with avant-garde, hand drawn patterns that, according to the club, reflect Montreal’s cultural richness.

“The signature rose motif, represents the resilience, growth, and flourishing of both players, as well as the whole team,” the club.

“The intricate print serves as a symbol of a new era in women’s sports, where courage, artistry, and ambition come together to break barriers and set trends.”

The secondary jersey features a white-on-white embossing with an interlaced pattern on the sleeve.

“The Roses represent a femininity that combines force, finesse, courage, and power. Each of our players are unique, and together, we form a collective that is unafraid to show its thorns,” said Montréal Roses co-founder and investor, Isabèle Chevalier.

The Danish brand Hummel was chosen as the official sportswear provider for the Northern Super League. The club said the jerseys were made from 100 per cent recycled polyester through a “responsible” production process.

The Montréal Roses will kick off their opening season on April 19 as they face AFC Toronto at the BMO Field.
