Montrealers can expect a mixed bag of weather for the first weekend of Spring.
Following near record-breaking highs this week, sun and clouds with a high of 9 C is expected Friday. The temperature is then expected to move down to an overnight low of 1 C.
Those with Saturday plans may want their rain gear on hand, particularly in the afternoon.
A 60 per cent chance of 1 millimetre of showers is expected to begin around 3 p.m. with a daytime high of 9 C. The mercury could then drop to a low of -9 C by Saturday night.
However, Sunday should bring sun as the day’s name suggests. A daytime high of 1 C will then give way to a nighttime low of -6 C.
The normal daytime high and low for this time in March are 3 C and -6 C respectively.
