A man linked to over a half-dozen incidents of sexual violence in the Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie and Saint-Léonard boroughs last fall has been arrested, according to Montreal police (SPVM).

Lenny Bourque, 25, was charged with four counts of sexual assault between Aug. 9 and Oct. 6, as well as one count of voyeurism and one breaking and entering count on Oct. 6.

The SPVM says Bourque was apprehended on March 25 in Repentigny.

“He has been released on a dozen strict conditions pending trial,” the SPVM said in a news release.

According to the police, on seven different occasions the man allegedly approached his victims from behind to commit sexually motivated acts, including touching before fleeing.

The SPVM said that information obtained from the public that led to the arrest.
