Longueuil police (SPAL) says it is still trying to determine what happened after a man walked into a hospital with gunshot wounds.
According to the force, a 29-year-old man entered the hospital to seek help at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
“He had gunshot wounds to his lower body,” said Jacqueline Pierre, a spokesperson with Longueuil police. “His life is not in danger.”
She adds that he was quickly evaluated by the medical staff.
“We are not getting any collaboration from him,” Pierre explains. “We have no details about what happened.”
Longueuil police is asking anyone who may have information to reach out.
