A 22-year-old man was found dead in suspicious circumstances in Montreal on Saturday.
At around 1:30 p.m., Montreal police (SPVM) officers went to the intersection of Sainte-Catherine Street and Bercy street, in the borough of Ville-Marie, after receiving a call from a passer-by who reportedly found the victim.
The man was lying on the ground at the back of a licensed establishment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
As the circumstances of the death were suspicious, the SPVM protected the scene so that investigators and forensic identification technicians could analyse the scene. Checks will be made for any surveillance cameras in the vicinity.
