St. Thomas police say they needed to use a taser on Thursday night to subdue a man with a knife at a local hospital.
According to police they were called to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH) at around 8:30 p.m.
Hospital staff had cleared the area by the time officers arrived.
