The London Knights are one win away from the next round of the OHL playoffs, after beating the Owen Sound Attack 7-4 on Tuesday night.
In the closest game of the series so far, Sam O’Reilly broke a 4-4 tie in the third period with his third goal of the series. Jared Woolley and Easton Cowan scored insurance goals to seal the victory.
Defenseman Sam Dickinson exploded for five points on the night, scoring London’s first goal of the game, then racking up four assists.
The Knights are on the brink of a sweep now, holding a 3-0 series lead. They can book their spot in the next round of the playoffs with a game four win Thursday night in Owen Sound.
