Sarnia police are searching for a driver that ran down a flock of birds in a parking lot on Saturday.
According to police, at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 1, park goers were feeding ducks and geese at Centennial Park when a dark coloured truck entered the parking lot.
After parking in the corner for a few minutes, police say that the vehicle revved it’s engine, and drove directly through the flock of birds, striking four of them.
The truck then left the area and travelled eastbound on London Road.
Police located two ducks and a Canada goose deceased, as well as one living duck that was sent to animal control where it later died.
The vehicle is described as a newer dark coloured Dodge Ram with a burnt orange flame decal on the passenger side. The vehicle is lifted with 35 inch tires and has a full cab, and long box. The front grill is custom, and stylized similar to a transport truck. It has tan rock guard panels, and a tan bumper.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sarnia police.
