A London woman has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle at a busy London intersection on Monday.

Around 8 p.m., emergency crews responded to the intersection of Adelaide Street north and Huron Street for the crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

According to police, the victim was taken to hospital by paramedic services and the driver involved remained at the scene.

Police used a drone as part of the investigation and the road was reopened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators are asking anyone that may have been in the area of Huron and Adelaide streets between 8 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance, to contact the London Police Service.
