Although technically we have arrived at spring, the weather would suggest otherwise.
Parts of the region could see as many as ten centimetres of snow tonight, “A special weather advisory in effect in through Grey, Bruce County, including the Bruce Peninsula, heavy snowfall tonight [is] possible,” warned CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison.
There is a chance of flurries in London tonight, but no significant accumulation is expected.
“We have this upper level low that’s spinning its way over the Great Lakes basin,” said Atchison. “It’ll drift into southern Quebec tonight, but you can see it’s got a lot of moisture kicking around at the surface.”
Frigid temperatures are expected tonight, “Overnight lows dropping below the freezing mark, anywhere from zero to a minus one, a minus two in Mount Forest. The only areas near freezing and just a bit above will be along the lake shore,” said Atchison.
There is a slight risk of flurries heading into Tuesday afternoon, however the temperatures are expected to slowly rebound as the week progresses.
