One person has died as a result of a crash on Highway 401 in Elgin County.
According to police the crash was between a passenger vehicle and a commercial motor vehicle — the passenger vehicle was travelling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway.
All westbound lanes were closed between Currie Road and Graham Road for about nine hours while police investigated but have since reopened.
The victim has been identified as a 25-year-old man from London.
