Londoner killed in collision with train in Tillsonburg

On Friday shortly before 12:30 p.m., Oxford OPP say that they responded to a collision involving a sedan and a train on Bayham Drive.

A collision on the western edge of Tillsonburg has claimed one life.

On Friday shortly before 12:30 p.m., Oxford OPP say that they responded to a collision involving a sedan and a train on Bayham Drive.

The driver of the sedan was the lone occupant. The 56-year-old driver from London Ont. was transported to hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.

Bayham Drive is closed between Highway 3 and Pressey Road while officers investigate. The closure is expected to persist for the next several hours.

The train remains in the roadway.
