Don’t let the sun fool you, cooler temperatures still around

Reta Ismail has the latest forecast

Wednesday morning brought noticeably cooler conditions for the region.

There will be a little bit of cloud cover heading into this evening but it will move out once a low pressure system starts to make its way out to the east.

“It brought a little bit of light flurry activity near the Bruce Peninsula, some light snowfall for other parts of the region,” said Reta Ismail. “Just a lot of cloud cover throughout the afternoon and into the evening and then clearing out nicely as we head into Thursday morning.”

Ismail said there will be plenty of sunshine, but not to be fooled, it will actually be quite chilly in the morning, feeling close to -7 C with the wind chill.

It will be a bit of a roller coaster ride in terms of our temperatures for the next seven days as we get set to welcome spring next Thursday.
